Visiting Sunflower Farms

A couple weeks ago, we visited Sunflower Farms in Longmont. Jack enjoyed looking at the animals and playing with the giant legos with wheels they had there. He sort of got the idea that you were supposed to go to the corn bucket and then bring it over to the animals, but he had a little trouble getting the corn flat on his hand for the goats and llamas. Instead, he would throw it on the ground or hold it tight in his fist (like he does to Fozzie!) which the animals found a little frustrating (though they didn't seem as frustrated as Fozzie!). He seemed to like the llama the best.

Special forms of transportation at the zoo

Denver Zoo

We visited the Denver Zoo for Sarah's Birthday/Fathers Day. Jack wasn't sure what to make of some of the animals, though he did call a fox "arf." He also liked the water in various exhibits and the ball that a bear was playing with.
