Remebering Jack's First Day of Preschool, Fall 2010

Grown so much! People still comment about his hair now, and I have finally stopped telling them how it used to be even more fabulous!

At teh Museum of Science in Boston

Lots of cool stuff there! We'll be back for the ice age exhibit (I accidentally told Jack there would be such a thing because I didn't read carefully on the website that it was "Coming Soon," but there was a lot of cool stuff...)

Found a few more photos on the other camera! We enjoyed a cloudy, non-beach day at the farm with the Folkensteins!

All the Montana Photos

I thought I better post from our last trip before we head off on our next trip this Thursday. Capri, Italy, here we come!
If you want to see more of the 400+ photos I took during our 10 days in Montana, here are the "starred" ones:

Whitefish Mountain Resort

We took the chairlift up and hiked around, Jack played in Spider Monkey Mountain, and we took the Alpine Slide several times. Good times! (Rose got special time with Grandma and Grandpa.)

Captain Jack, Age 4

Jack can actually drive the boat a bit now. Once when it was just mommy and Jack in the boat, he had many questions for me about my boating abilities (mainly, he didn't believe I know how to drive the boat). He was, however, reassured by the idea that HE knows how to drive and could help me.

The Gladiator!

Jack and Lamar loved going on this thing. We couldn't believe how fast and bumpy Jack liked it. He wanted to "do wake crossings." Meanwhile, I was getting motion sickness and a sore neck from all the bouncing! Kept asking him if he had enough, and he kept saying no!

Nona enjoyed a gentle spin, and Jack and Lamar did one round on their own. After Lamar left, Ben and I had to ride along as balast -- Jack is too light to ride that alone. The whole time, he just was laughing and asking to go faster, I did not, however, pass along the faster signal to the boat driver. We did get to finish it off with a middle of the lake swim, something I always enjoy. Maybe next year for Rose?

Flying a kite

Thanks aunt Joyce for the kite. We didn't get a chance to fly it in Woods Hole, but we had fun flying it in Montana!
