Jack decided it was OK if Nona sat on Grandma's lap as long as he could sit there too!

Learning to jump

Jack really wanted to jump like cousin Lamar. He puts a lot of energy into it, but so far his vertical is still 0! These are from just before the ceremony--nice spot for a wedding!

South Lake Tahoe

We had a nice visit to South Lake Tahoe for cousing Rebecca's wedding. Baby cousin Nona ("bay-bee"), Grandma Nonie ("Nini" or sometimes "ma"), Grandpa ("pa"), Uncle Zach (still not sure about this, Jack is still mostly calling him whazsis, as in what's this), cousin Lamar ("mar"), cousin Shannae ("Nae"), and Aunt Brady were all in attendence, as well as a whole lot of extended family. Jack wasn't using everyone's names as much during the trip, but he liked to name everyone in the pictures... and to look for pictures of "mar". Despite his beanpole shape, Lamar carried Jack around quite a bit!

Hanging in the crib with Fozzie

Jack and Fozzie get along pretty well these days. Sometimes Foz gets a little over-excited and jumps on Jack or knocks him down, but usually no harm. Jack pets Foz real gentle and calls him "bozzie" instead of the more generic "arf."

Day at the beach

Jack really seems to enjoy the beach. And his parents have discovered that the Pacific isn't too cold for swimming, at least not on a hot day! The waves are bigger here than in Woods Hole, so Jack is cautious about going close to the water. He likes to run around, kick his ball, dig in the sand, watch the waves... and practice his yoga!
