Bumpy Ride

On our last day, we went out to watch the sun set, and it was a bit of a bumpy ride, but Jack loved the bumps. He didn't mind the water spraying over too much. Eventually, the bumps put him right to sleep.

More from the family gathering

Driving the boat, with auntie em, with cousin nona, and cousin Chris (Jack has to wear the top-knot when he swims so his un-curled hair doesn't block his vision)...

Driving the boat

Jack is still very serious about his boat driving, but he did loosen up a little and smile. This year he learned to make the boat go "faster and faster and faster" and was also able to actually control the steering momentarily. He does pretty well with "turn this way" an d"turn that way" but "straighten it out" is confusing...

Cousins, Aunts and Uncles

We began our Montana visit with a gathering of many aunts, uncles, and cousins (first, second, removed, whatever). It was a lot of fun to see Jack with all his cousins--he loves playing with the older kids and they were very nice to him. I also enjoyed seeing the grown-ups :).
